The South African Medical Association, in collaboration with the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA), invites you to a webinar that will provide a detailed introduction to the regulator and how it ensures the safety, efficacy and quality of medicines, medical devices and IVDs in South Africa.

The legislative mandates of SAHPRA, as per the National Health Act, 2003 (Act No. 61 of 2003); the Medicines and Related Substances Act, 1965 (Act No. 101 of 1965), as amended; and other relevant legislation, regulations and policies will also be explained.
